Canadian Quin twins, Tegan and Sara, have released their newest music video "Back In Your Head". It is also the first single off their most excellent new album The Con. This album hasn't left my car from the day I bought it. This might be the first CD I wear out. If you haven't yet purchased it, first slap yourself upside your head, next run out and get it. I highly recommend the CD/DVD special edition. The DVD features a 90 minute behind the scenes making of "The Con: The Movie" filmed (in HD) while they worked on the album. If you're a die hard fan, this is not to be missed.

Video: "Don't You Evah" - Spoon

Spoon's newest music video features a robot Keepon (developed by Hideki Kozima and programmed by Marek Michalowski) dancing to the "Don't You Evah" on their latest album, Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga. Spoon's Jim Eno followed by Britt Daniel do make cameos. They are the American's dressed in all black sporting sunglasses. The video was a collaboration between Wired magazine, including creative director and TM alum Scott Dadich, and created by Austin filmmaker Swampy Jeff Nichols.

The English translation of the movie's title is "Birth of The Octopuses". The international title of the movie is "Water Lilies". Upon viewing the other movie's video clips, it would appear the love somebody is falling into is one way. That being said, it is not so much the subject matter of this French movie which has me intrigued, it's the soundtrack that has won me over. The music has an old school late 70s/early 80s sound to it. I'm a huge electronic/new wave/synth music fan and I want this soundtrack, now.

This November will be a Blue October
Yes, Blue October is playing (again) at this year's Austin City Limits Music Festival. However, by attending this concert later in November, I can now free up a set-time and catch another artist. Plus, as the ticket shows, this concert includes Yellowcard, Shiny Toy Guns and Lovedrug.
